Archery Coaching Certifications Now Available
I am excited to share that archery coaching certification classes are now available through my website. This is a new addition to my coaching services and something I have been intentionally working toward after years of coaching athletes, leading programs, and teaching within structured archery environments.
These certifications are designed for individuals who want to teach archery responsibly and correctly. Whether you are interested in assisting with youth programs, running community classes, or pursuing long-term coaching development, this pathway provides a clear and structured starting point.
How the Archery Coaching Certification Pathway Works
Archery coaching certifications follow a progressive structure that allows instructors and coaches to build knowledge and responsibility step by step. Each level builds upon the previous one, ensuring a strong technical and safety foundation before moving forward.
Level 1 Instructor Certification
Level 1 is the entry point into archery instruction. This certification focuses on range safety, safe shooting environments, basic equipment knowledge, teaching beginner archery skills, and supporting introductory archery programs. It is ideal for individuals who want to assist with classes, camps, schools, or community events.
Level 2 Instructor Certification
Level 2 expands on the foundational skills developed in Level 1 and introduces more structure and independence. This level focuses on improved teaching techniques, equipment setup fundamentals, developing consistent shooting form, and managing lessons and group dynamics. Level 2 instructors are prepared to independently run beginner programs and structured classes.
Level 3 Coach Certification
Level 3 marks the transition from instructor to coach. This certification emphasizes technical refinement, form analysis, lesson planning, athlete progression, and identifying and correcting shooting errors. Coaches at this level begin focusing on long-term development rather than basic instruction alone.
What Makes Level 4 Coaching Certification Different
Level 4 is a high performance coaching certification and represents a significant step in responsibility and expertise. This is the certification level I personally hold, and it directly informs how I coach, mentor, and structure all of my programs.
Level 4 coaching focuses on advanced biomechanics, shot execution, long-term athlete development models, mental performance, competition preparation, individualized coaching strategies, ethical coaching practices, and leadership. This level goes far beyond teaching archery and centers on developing athletes in a complete and sustainable way.
Why I Am Offering Coaching Certifications
After years of coaching across private lessons, group programs, youth development, and competitive environments, I saw a consistent need for properly trained archery instructors. Many people want to teach archery but lack clear guidance on how to do so safely and effectively.
By offering coaching certifications, my goal is to support the growth of quality archery programs, promote safety and consistency in instruction, mentor new instructors with intention, and help raise the overall standard of coaching within the sport.
What to Expect From These Certification Classes
These certification classes emphasize practical application, strong safety standards, thoughtful coaching progression, and realistic expectations for new instructors. The goal is to provide clear instruction that translates directly to real-world teaching environments.
Whether your interest is recreational instruction or long-term coaching development, these certifications provide the foundation to move forward with confidence and professionalism.
